What landscaping in New Tampa actually involves
New Tampa is mostly planned communities built from the late 1980s onward, which means large HOA common areas, long entrance boulevards and irrigation systems that are now well past their design life. Most of the calls we take here start with a water bill.
The other recurring issue is scale. A community entrance with a monument sign, a fountain and a quarter mile of median planting is not a lawn job. It needs a schedule, a plant palette that survives full sun on a median, and someone who reports back to the board before the annual meeting rather than after it.
Oaks planted with those communities are now mature. They shade turf that was specified for full sun, lift sidewalks, and drop limbs in summer storms. We handle the thinning and the sidewalk repairs, and we replant the shaded areas with something that will actually grow there.
