Hardscape either lasts twenty years or it fails in two. The difference is almost never the paver. It is the base under it and the drainage around it.

We build the base to spec, compact it in layers, and set the edge restraint that stops the field from spreading. That is the part you never see and the part that decides the outcome.

Walkways, plazas and courtyards

We build walkways at grades that meet accessibility requirements and drain away from doorways.

Paver joints are filled and compacted so the surface locks together. A locked paver field carries foot traffic and light vehicles without rutting.

Retaining walls

Retaining walls hold soil, and soil gets much heavier when it is wet. Florida summer rain is the load that breaks an undrained wall.

We install drainage stone and a drain line behind the wall so water leaves instead of pushing. Walls above the height allowed by code get an engineered design.

Repairs and trip hazards

Sunken pavers and lifted sidewalk slabs are a liability claim waiting to be filed. Most are caused by tree roots or by a base that was never compacted.

We lift the affected area, deal with the root, rebuild the base and reset the same pavers. In most cases you do not need new material.

Common questions

How long does a commercial paver installation take?

A walkway or entrance area is usually two to five working days. Plazas and phased work take longer. We give you a schedule with the quote so you can notify tenants.

Can you work outside business hours?

Yes. For retail centers and offices we regularly work early mornings or weekends to keep entrances open during trading hours.

Will the pavers sink over time?

Not if the base is right. We excavate to depth, compact the base in layers and install edge restraint. Most failures we are called to repair skipped one of those three steps.

Do you match existing pavers?

Where the product is still made, yes. Where it is discontinued, we source the closest available match and show you a sample before ordering.
